What a winter this has been.. relatively warm weather and LOTS AND LOTS of rain. The days are a bit dreary. I just want it to warm up a little more and have sunshine!!
Being stuck inside has meant staying busy-we have done a bit of work to the house.. with more to come and some great ideas. Those "piles" I often complain about are slowing dwindling-which is just awesome. I've been making lots of to-do lists and trying hard to stick to them.
I think I wrote earlier that Jason is getting married in June. His fiance sent me a picture of there cake topper which I just have to share~
Danielle is such a good sport! Jason is Elvis obsessed.. I know there is more to come with this...http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Ahhh, I have to share that Christmas present from Bill that I mentioned earlier. This tattoo stuff is addicting.. BUT I am glad I waited till now to get them.
The picture just doesn't do it justice though! Just love it and think I need more.
Did finish a couple of knitting projects. I finished the Flutterby Fairy Dishcloth in a nice hot pink.
Don't know what it is about knitting dishcloths... other than the fact they are quick and provide instant gratification. But what to do with all the ones that are done?
Also finished a pair of socks. The pattern was a knit-a-long on Ravelry by KnitterS Brewing Co. I don't know who wrote the pattern but they did a great job. It was easy to follow with great pictures-breaks down sockmaking beautifully!
These were done with Knit Picks Essential in the Princess Multi colorway. Can you tell I like pinks/fuschia's? Need to use yellow or something next time.
